Earl Eugene Druck Jr.

Earl Eugene Druck, Jr., of Leonardtown, Maryland, formerly of Red Lion, entered into rest on Monday, July 6, 2020, at his residence, at 8 pm at the age of 74. He was the husband of Debra Ann (Beck) Druck, of Leonardtown, MD., to whom he married on September 12, 1975. He was born in York on January 9, 1946 and was the son of the late Earl Eugene Druck, Sr. and Alta Faye (Dunnic-Blouse) Druck Smith, and his step father, Rodney Smith of Yoe. He went to the Red Lion High School and then went in the service. He served two tours of duty with the Marines and then rejoined with the United States Navy, having served a total of twenty years prior to his retirement from the military, he then worked at DynCorp for several years. He was a life member of the American Legion, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign War. Earl enjoyed hunting, fishing, going square dancing and spending time with his family. Besides his wife Debra and his step father, Rodney, he leaves his two children, Michael L. Druck of York and Donna M. Couffer and her husband Jason of Wichita Falls, Texas. He was the loving grandfather of 4 grandchildren and one great grandson. Earl has a step brother, Keith Burke of York and a step sister, Beverly Burke of Dallastown along with nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Dick Druck, Dennis Druck and Loretta Tyson. There will be no viewing, visitation for Earl will be on Friday, July 10th, from 9-10 am at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise will begin at 10 am at the funeral home with Rev. David D. Tietje, pastor of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Red Lion, officiating. Burial will take place at a later date, in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
