JoAnn S. (Sutton) Moul

March 30, 1933 - January 19, 2019

JoAnn S. (Sutton) Moul, of Dallastown, went from life to Life Eternal, after a brief illness on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 2:55 pm at Manor Care Dallastown, at the age of 85. She was the wife of the late James H. Moul who entered into rest on May 7, 2015. JoAnn was born on March 30, 1933, and was the daughter of the late W. Leonard and Esta (Becker) Sutton. She received a Bachelor of Science degree as a Registered Nurse and worked for many years at the Dallastown Area School District prior to her retirement. She was a longtime and active member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Red Lion, where she sang in the choir, served as an Elder and a Deacon. She leaves two children, Jamie L. Moul of Sugar Grove, NC and Julie A. Gardner and husband Tom of Wharton, NJ. She was the loving grandmother to Ian T. Gardner and his wife Tiffany of Mooresville, NC, and Caitlyn M. Gardner of Charlotte, NC and numerous grand doggies. There will be no viewing for JoAnn. A Memorial Service of Honor and Praise will be on Saturday, January 26th at 3 pm at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 161 N. Main St., Red Lion, with her pastor, Rev. David T. Tietje officiating. Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is assisting the family with the arrangements. Burial will be private and take place at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions in JoAnn’s memory may be offered to: St. John’s UCC, at the address above. JoAnn loved life, having fun, listening to music, traveling and she had very special neighbors that she loved. But most of all, she was a great mother, grandmother and loved spending time with her family. I know how much you loved me, as much as I love you, and each time you think of me, I know you’ll miss me too. In your hearts forever.
