Judith Ann Shultz- Hamberger- Snyder

July 1, 1955 - April 17, 2022

Judith Ann Shultz-Hamberger-Snyder, 66, of Red Lion, entered into rest at her home on Sunday, April 17, 2022. Born in Hanover on July 1, 1955, Judy was the daughter of the late Charles Joseph and Ruth Hannalore Rupprecht-Shultz. She was a graduate of Eastern High School, class of 1973 and was an Administrative Services Coordinator for EK McConkey Insurance & Benefits. Judy was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church where she was on the Board of Trustees and most recently, the Hospitality Committee. More than anything, Judy loved spending time with her grandchildren, Aria & Dominic, or as Judy called it, “Omi time.” She was a talented event planner & decorator. Judy always went above and beyond on any holiday to decorate for the occasion and especially enjoyed adorning Christmas trees with her beautiful and artistically talented touch. She loved spending time at the beach but above all, time spent anywhere with her family and friends was most important. Judy leaves her two sons, Daniel A. Hamberger and wife, Jessica, of Red Lion and Vincent R. Hamberger and wife, Liz, of York. She was an adoring grandmother to Aria C. and Dominic G. Hamberger, both of York. Judy leaves behind her brothers, Charles R. Shultz, of Marysville and Robert F. Shultz and wife, Kim, of Millsboro, DE, as well as her sisters, Ruth F. Craver and husband, Fred, of Windsor and Theresa M. Elfner and husband, Wade, of Red Lion. Judy was the loving aunt to nine nieces and nephews and twelve (soon to be thirteen) great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her niece, Rebekah Craver, who entered into rest on June 27, 2016. Viewings for Judy will take place on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion and on Saturday, April 23, 2022 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 2935 Kingston Rd. York, PA 17402. A Catholic Service in her honor will begin at 11:30 AM with Father Rigo Azanwi, OSM, CAP, and Pastor Ron Doverspike of Bethany United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered in Judy’s name to IFFGD, 537 Long Point Road, Suite 101, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 or to ACCESS York, PO Box 743, York, PA 17405.
