Michelle J. (Pettit) Eisenhart of Manchester, entered into God’s care, after a brief illness, on Friday, October 12, 2018, at 3:42 pm at York Hospital, with family by her side, at the age of 65. She was the wife of the late Howard L. “Renz” Ness and the late Duane T. Eisenhart. She was born in York, on May 27, 1953 and was the daughter of Darwin Pettit of Dallastown and the late Donna (Shaffer) Schmuck. She was a bus driver for F & S Transportation. Michelle attended Ambassador Bible Church in Manchester when she was able. She also loved to read, watch the Atlanta Falcons, and spend time with her family. Besides her father, Darwin, she leaves a son, Matthew D. Weston and his wife Becci of Hanover, and two daughters, Heather J. Walters of Etters and Noelle E. Shue of Manchester. Michelle was a grandmother of Brendan, Sean, Ryan, Courtney, Blake, Chloe and Jordan, and a great grandmother to Addyson, Zayden and Kyler. She has five siblings, Rev. Steven Pettit of VA, Daria Henry of MD, Kim Wooley of FL, Tony Pettit of Dover, and Missy Erhart of Dallastown, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Bradley Pettit. Viewing for Michelle will be on Sunday, October 21st from 2-4 pm at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise for Michelle will begin at 4 pm at the funeral home with her brother, Rev. Steven Pettit, officiating. Cremation will take place, and, burial will be private and at the convenience to the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to York Health Foundation, Cancer Patient Help Fund, 50 North Duke Street, York, PA 17401. The Lord replied, “My precious, precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you only see one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you.” I’ll be waiting, with, open arms, for the time when He carries you, and we all meet again.
