Nancy (Crumling) Keller

EAST PROSPECT Nancy C. (Crumling) Keller, 80, entered into rest after a lengthy illness at 3:20 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2011, at her residence. She was the wife of Leon L. Keller, who entered into rest on May 8, 2003 She was born in Lower Windsor Twp., on March 20, 1930, and was the daughter of the late Jacob H. and Beatrice I. (Smeltzer) Crumling. Mrs. Keller was a payroll clerk at American Chain and Cable Company, known as ACCO, retiring in 1991 after 43 years of service. She was a longtime and faithful member of Zion United Methodist Church in East Prospect, a member of the White Rose Chapter #360 Order of the Eastern Star in York, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary Post #7045 in Hellam, and American Legion Post #469 in Wrightsville. Surviving are a sister, Helen Stein of York; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Irene Ritz, and a brother, Glenn Crumling. There will be a viewing from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at Zion United Methodist Church, 1 N. Main St., East Prospect, with an Eastern Star service at 9:45 a.m. performed by the White Rose Chapter #360 Order of the Eastern Star. The service will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church with her pastor, the Rev. Albert R. Horst, assisted by Father Barry E. Yingling, Chaplain of the Brunswick at Longstown, officiating. Burial will be at East Prospect (Riverview) Cemetery. Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to York Health Foundation, Cancer Patient Help Fund, 912 S. George St., York, PA 17403; or VNA Hospice, 540 S. George St., York, PA 17403; or to Zion U.M. Church, 1 N. Main St., East Prospect, PA 17317.
