Sherry May (Rollman) Boyle

Sherry May (Rollman) Boyle, of Red Lion, passed peacefully from this earthly life, with her husband by her side, to begin her eternal life with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 4 am at her residence at the age of 85. She was the loving wife of Ronald Francis Boyle, of Red Lion, to whom she married on September 15, 1956, celebrating 65 years together. She was born in Reading, PA on May 25, 1936, and was the daughter of the late Harvey M. and Helen O. (Wolfskill) Rollman. Sherry graduated from Governor Mifflin High School, Class of 1954. She was a homemaker, raising her children and taking care of her family. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in York. Sherry and Ron did everything together, like fishing and hiking. She enjoyed sewing, (she made a lot of her children’s clothes when they were young), she loved to do cross stitch and embroidery, and has many beautiful pieces on display in their homes. She also loved gardening and growing herbs. Sherry and Ronald have three children, Rachel A. Caldwell of York and her husband Rick, Thomas A. Boyle, and Timothy L. Boyle. She was the loving grandmother of three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Sherry also has nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Rebecca S. Flickinger on April 15, 2020, a grandson, Nathan Boyle and a sister and brother. A viewing will be on Thursday, March 24th, from 9-10 am at Burg Funeral Home, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion. A Service of Honor and Praise for Sherry will begin at 10 am at the funeral home, with Chaplain Stephen C. Weber officiating. Burial will take place in Kreutz Creek Cemetery.
