Stephen F. Shultz of Red Lion, entered into God's eternal home unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 2:30 pm at York Hospital at the age of 64. He was the husband of Debra L. (Senft) Gladfelter Shultz of Red Lion to whom he married on May 19, 1990 celebrating 26 years of marriage. He was born in Hanover on November 28, 1952 and was the son of the late Frederick and Barbara A. (Beagel) Shultz. He worked at Dyn Corp in York then at Leggett & Platt in Red Lion and currently was the second shift custodian at the Red Lion Area High School. Steve was a member of the Winterstown United Methodist Church where he served as an Usher and assisted with the sound system., Red Lion American Legion Post 543, Benevolent & Protective Order Elks Red Lion Lodge # 1592 where he served as Secretary and RLESPA Union. He was a graduate of Perkiomen Prep School and he loved the Beatle's Music. Besides his wife Deb, he is survived by a son, Jonathan Shultz and his wife Angel of Hanover. Two brothers, Jeff Shultz and wife Tracy of Severna Park, MD and Tom Shultz and his wife Suzie of Hanover and two nephews, Peter and Harry Shultz. Viewing will be on Wednesday, April 19th from 9:30 to 10:30 am at Winterstown United Methodist Church, 12184 Winterstown Road, Felton, PA. A Service of Honor and Praise for Steve will begin at 10:30 am at the church with his pastor, Rev. Mitchell M. Galloway officiating. Cremation will follow the service with burial at the convenience of the family at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to Winterstown United Methodist Church, 12184 Winterstown Road, Felton, PA 17322 or to the American Heart Association, 610 Community Way, Lancaster, PA 17603. God hath not promised skies always blue. Flowers-strewn pathways all our lives through. God hat not promised sun without rain, day without sorrow, or peace without pain. BUT, God has promised help from above, unfailing sympathy and UNDYING LOVE.
